Pray For .XXX

From Plugged In's August 2005 issue:
In June, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers announced that it had begun negotiations to create a new .xxx suffix for pornographic Web addresses.
The magazine points out that such a suffix would make it easier for parents — and kids — to keep these sites out of our homes. Of course, the question of how to define "pornographic" will come up. Will it apply only to for-profit sites? What about artistic nudity? What about the personal sites of strange, love-starved exhibitionists? And here's another interesting question: Will owners of these operations want the .xxx label since it boasts their status as providers of such a lucrative product?
