Tragedy, it seems, is traveling across the planet like a virulent disease, and technology brings the progress of it into our homes 24/7. Quickly, we flip the channel to something more palatable. But is that the best we can do? How do we parent proactively in the face of such sorrow and suffering? Here's an article to get the conversation started. At the very least, we can remember with our kids how Jesus predicted events like these, and that we look forward to a time and place without grieving, loss, or mourning. In the meantime, we pray for grace to heal, restore, and repair as God leads.
